Atlanta Eye Care operates three locations in Metro Atlanta. For many years, Windward Eye Care has met the needs of its patients through the dedication and service of Drs. Thomas Arey and Sean Alexander. Drs. Arey and Alexander, graduates of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, in conjunction with general manager Robbie Hall; formed the practice at a time when Windward Parkway was somewhat devoid of businesses. Although the Doctors weren’t familiar with the retail side of an eye care practice, Robbie was equipped with more than 20 years experience in the field.

After marked growth, Windward Eye Care chose Dr. Michael Walker, also a graduate of UAB, to open a second practice – Cumberland Pointe Eye Care. It was during this time of growth that Drs. Arey and Alexander began working with Dr. James Lundy who was the owner of the Alpharetta Eye Clinic for over 20 years. While seeing each others patients they recognized one another; Dr. Lundy’s longevity and ties to the community and Drs. Arey and Alexander’s enthusiasm and innovative approach which is what paved the way for the opening of Atlanta Eye Care. Today, Atlanta Eye Care is proud to offer both Complete Comprehensive Family Eye Care and the latest in fashion forward Eyewear.
