Joe is a dedicated practitioner Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with a decades experience. He works to empower people to understand their bodies and discover the joys of living a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
As a TCM therapist, Joe enjoy’s being able to access a wide variety of knowledge while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. He focuses on finding the root cause of the issue whilst clearing the symptoms. In some cases this means a few sessions of acupuncture will be enough, in others, lifestyle changes and herbal therapy may also be applicable.

He began studying TCM after travelling to South East Asia. After experiencing the culture and learning more about their holistic approach to health care, where prevention is key and emotional and psychological health is an integrated part of a healthy lifestyle, he was intrigued. The different yet complementary way of seeing the body and the being, as well as the curious approach to diagnosis, using the tongue and pulse to learn more about the patient, is both fascinating and illuminating.

Joe completed his bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Middlesex University, receiving a 1st class honors as well as an award for excellence from the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, of which only two are awarded per year. He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
