Karen Taylor, MD, FACOG, is a skilled and compassionate gynecologist located in Newport Beach, CA who is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art, patient-centered gynecological care for women of all ages. At her practice next to Fashion Island, Dr. Taylor provides patients with an array of treatment options and medical services including well woman exams, birth control counseling, and treatment options including IUD placement, STD testing, hormone replacement therapy, treatment for menopause issues, diagnosis and management of pelvic pain, depression treatment, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) therapy, and in-office evaluations and procedures including colposcopy and hysteroscopy. In addition, she’s a leading provider of adolescent gynecology care, helping teens and even preteens  understand their bodies and their health so they can feel more confident and empowered.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Taylor completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego, followed by completing her medical degree at Tufts University in Boston and her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of California, Irvine. Devoted to remaining abreast of current and evolving developments in her field, she maintains active memberships in medical associations including the American Medical Association (AMA) and the Orange County Medical Association (OCMA).
