Jacob H Hargett Sr.

Jacob Houston Hargett was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana and is now a proud husband and father. He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette then went on to receive his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2006. Thereafter, he attended Loyola University College of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate.
While attending Loyola, Mr. Hargett served as the President of Loyola's Trial Advocacy Program and was a member of the Loyola Trial Advocacy National Team. In addition, Mr. Hargett was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers and was awarded the Blue Williams Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy in 2009.
After graduating from Law School, Mr. Hargett accepted a job with a large firm in Lafayette and worked there for several years. During his time there, Mr. Hargett handled several cases involving railroad accidents, medical malpractice, automobile accidents, workers' compensation, products liability, slip and fall as well as accidents and commercial and business disputes
