There was just no way to ignore the urge to get back in the game, so we found a wonderful cottage on Blue Hill Bay and The Meadow was born! The shop is brimming with gifts for every occasion: home goods (from rugs to pillows, lamps to lap blankets), stationery & greeting cards, soaps & toiletries, candles, jewelry, books, apparel for adults & children, wedding & baby gifts, kitchenware & cookbooks, food & sweets, and seasonal gifts for every holiday.Oh, and our handmade balsam wreaths are a specialty of the house!

Great selection of chocolate bars and salts. I only browsed the chocolate section, so this review pertains only to that. Prices are about what you'd expect for high end chocolate. Displays were organized and tidy, making it easy to check exactly what was there. Two drawbacks, though. First, I'm reluctant to pay $10 for a chocolate bar without a nibble. I realize giving out free chocolate is not their M.O., but I'd like to know what I'm spending my money on. There must be a way to do this without being a giveaway. At least have a few "featured" items that can be tasted so we know what we're buying.
