Most of my clients are women who have survived a personal setback, whether it be divorce, widowhood, illness or disability. Regardless of their issues, they are tired of feeling like a victim and want to take back control of their life. At the age of 35, after just 5 years of marriage and while pregnant with twins my husband passed away from Leukemia. My Cinderella fantasy was quickly shattered. My husband was a CPA so I assumed he had all the finances in order. To my surprise, his estate plan was not set up properly, and I was left with nothing. With twins on the way I had no time to mourn. I knew I would never be satisfied just surviving. I had to face my fears and forge ahead to provide my children the best life possible. I took charge of my financial life, built a business as a financial advisor and never looked back. I could have easily given up but I quickly learned that by becoming more confident and accountable for my financial life my future would be more optimistic and stable. My mission is to help woman face their fears and embrace their financial life so that they too can go from just surviving to a place of thriving.
