Herons Return Cottage

Herons Return is a traditional timber frame cottage, with two queen bedrooms, and one with 2 twin beds. We have a fourth bedroom with a bunkbed for children. Perfect for up to 3 couples, or a family. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen, large living room with 180 degree views of the mountains, forest and cove, a large covered deck and a sundeck with a four person hot tub overlooking the cove are exclusively yours during your stay.
Our family cottage is in the peaceful hamlet of Tuwanek on the Sunshine Coast of BC, near Sechelt. It is steeped in nature but only 12 minutes from shopping, golf and restaurants in the town of Sechelt, British Columbia. The Sunshine Coast has great art and craft, writing, and music festivals throughout the year. The area is becoming known for amazing hiking, diving, mountain biking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. The inlet and marine park are renowned by sea kayakers for its calm, warm water. Kayak and standup paddle board rentals are available at Pedals and Paddles right next door.
We are located on Sechelt Inlet nestled at the foot of Mount Richardson, coastal forest and on the shore of Lamb Bay. You can see starfish, seals, crabs and salmon right in the cove and watch eagles, humming birds and, of course, herons from the deck.
