Charles H. Wilson, IV, M.D.

Knee and Joint Replacement Specialist

Dr. Wilson completed his undergraduate education at Auburn University and received his medical degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. Following his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, he completed a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction and sports medicine at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York with experts and pioneers in total knee replacement.

Dr. Wilson is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has a subspecialty certificate in sports medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

His practice focuses on total joint replacements and sports medicine. Dr. Wilson has a special interest in knee replacement surgery, including complex and revision knees and knee sports injuries. He is a team physician for UMS-Wright Preparatory School.

When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Wilson enjoys fishing and hunting.
