Dr. Mason graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering-construction and received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Mason completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of South Alabama.

Dr. Mason is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in knee and shoulder surgery with an interest in sports medicine. He is a member of most area hospital staffs.

Dr. Mason lives in Orange Beach with his wife Traci and three children. Dr. Mason is the team physician for Gulf Shores High School and is a member of First Baptist Church of Orange Beach.
