Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires up to 4 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, our doctors manage a wide variety of problems relating to the Mouth, Teeth and Facial Regions. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Center P.A. practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Dental Implant Surgery to Corrective Jaw Surgery and Wisdom Tooth Removal. We can also diagnose and treat Facial Pain, Facial Injuries and TMJ disorders, and perform a full range of other procedures. Our staff is fully trained in assisting Drs. Thames and Alexander with local, nitrous oxide, IV sedation and general anesthesia. Within our state of the art surgical suites, patients are monitored during and after surgery. More complex surgical procedures may be performed in a hospital setting, if necessary.
