Darrin’s practice focuses on general business-corporate law, real estate, construction, and contracts. His practice actively involves all aspects of civil litigation with an emphasis on the construction industry, from business formation, drafting and negotiating of contract language, licensing issues, consultation during construction and through dispute resolution. When necessary, Darrin works with his clients to protect their rights in the trial courts of Oregon and Washington State and Federal District Court.

Darrin holds a law degree from the University of Washington and has worked both stateside and internationally. He offers a broad exposure, having represented various legal matters and a broad array of clients from citizens of Bangladesh and China to multi-national corporations. Darrin has practiced in Saipan, a United States Territory in the Northern Pacific, as well as throughout the Pacific Northwest, where he has had his private practice and served as an in-house lawyer for a regional corporation.

While working in Saipan, Darrin represented both individuals and companies, along with numerous government agencies in matters ranging from drafting the island’s first set of CCR’s for a residential subdivision, to handling civil rights actions in Federal District Court.

Upon his return to the Pacific Northwest, Darrin took a position with the Vancouver, WA, law firm of Duggan, Schlotfeldt & Welch, where he represented property owners and businesses of all sizes, focusing on real estate & construction, contract disputes, and litigation.

In 2006, Darrin joined Pacific Lifestyle Homes, a Portland area residential community developer and homebuilder, as its in-house counsel. While at Pacific Lifestyle Homes, Darrin handled all company legal needs and served as a key member of the company’s management team in mapping out and implementing its strategic plans.

Darrin has now returned to private practice, where he utilizes his business and legal experience in partnership with small businesses, individuals and owner associations to achieve their goals and objectives.
