Mark Kent, MD

Dr. Kent obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude, in chemistry from Birmingham-Southern College, Birmingham, Alabama in 1991. He graduated with a Medical Degree, Alpha Omega Alpha, from The University of Alabama School of Medicine, Birmingham, Alabama in 1995, and completed the General Surgery Residency Program at Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine in 2000 where he was elected the outstanding teaching chief resident and also served as an instructor for the Department of Surgery. Dr. Kent was board certified in 2001 by the American Board of Surgery. Highly skilled, professional and compassionate, his commitment is to his patients.
