ACS HeartCare: Tarek Ahdab, M.D.

ACS HeartCare is pleased to work with Dr. Tarek M. Ahdab, an experienced and knowledgeable cardiologist operating out of our Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois office. Dr. Ahdab completed his internal medicine residency at St. Louis University Medical Center, his cardiology fellowship at John H. Stroger Cook County Hospital, and also completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Brown University. Dr. Ahdab, a board certified cardiologist specializing in internal medicine, has an unsurpassed knowledge in the areas of heart health.
In addition to his formal training in vascular and coronary interventions, Dr. Tarek Ahdab has hands-on experience treating complex cases, such as coronary disease, heart failure, aortic aneurysm, and venous disorders—among other cases. Dr. Ahdab always listens to his patient’s needs and desires and will adjust treatment to achieve the optimum clinical outcome and patient functionality, without sacrificing patient dignity.
Dr. Ahdab is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Vascular Medicine. He is married with two children. In his free time, he enjoys biking, playing chess, and golf.
