The life of Marc Zimmerman has been synonymous with art. Since his early teens growing up in Venice Beach, Marc has made pottery, eventually turning this into his first career. At the ripe age of 30 Marc discovered the world of two dimensional art, venturing into the watercolor world, which he showed in many Los Angeles based galleries. Marc expanded on his passion in mediums with pastels, collage, woodblock print, and oil painting. A continued love for three dimensional expression found its fulfillment in wood, stone and bronze sculpture periodically throughout his career. Today, with the ocean and surfing as his central theme, Marc focuses on designing wearable art generated from his coveted woodblock prints.
