The Waterfront

The Waterfront, Shanklin, Isle of Wight is a beautifully located on the beachfront on the idyllic Sandown/Shanklin bay.It was patronised by Charles Darwin who used to stay here and labelled The Waterfront as ' one of my favourite places' This Bar,bistro, B&B has a spacious bar/lounge which is dog friendly, the 'Darwin', dining room for slightly more formal dining (no dogs), an upper terrace which can be enclosed, is heated and has a stage for weekly music/live events and a large sun terrace (front) with giant parasols (also with heating) for all year round use. There is also 9 letting rooms over which are all en suite and some of which are dog friendly also. Food and beverages are served all day every day.
