Bel Canto Teachers of the Classical European Era (1600 to 1800) produced the greatest singers in the world. These singers could outperform with greater quality and power and stamina then even the greatest instrumentalist of that day. There are no singers today that have this ability. The reason for this is that this system was discarded over a hundred years ago for modern systems not based upon how our body muscles must be developed and coordinated with our God given anatomy. Bel Canto teachers of the past knew which muscles caused good or bad results..ie they knew anatomy and its limits to develope the greatest singers of all time.
