David W. Singer, one of Florida s best known personal injury attorneys, has been practicing law in Florida for over a quarter of a century. David W. Singer was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1954 and grew up in the Riverdale section of the Bronx in New York. After graduating high school from Horace Mann-Barnard School, David entered Tulane University in New Orleans. In his senior year, he received the prestigious Joseph Merritt Jones Award, which is given annually to the one student who has performed outstanding service to the University. David was then accepted to the Nova Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, graduating in the top 10-15% of his class in 1980. While in law school, he held down two and three jobs at a time; he was a legal intern in Broward County s Public Defender s Office, a clerk at a prestigious law firm and also set up a legal research service.
