Geriatrics Consulting Services

Geriatrics Consulting Services provides personalized medical care to seniors in the home or facility where the patient resides. Services are provided by a Geriatric Medicine physician specialist trained in the care of older persons. Services include (1) Comprehensive Geriatric Medical Assessment, (2) Diagnosis and Management of Memory Loss, (3) General Frailty, (4) Polypharmacy and Other Common Geriatric Conditions, (5) Specialized Alzheimer's Disease Care including Medical and Behavioral Management of Challenging Behaviors Associated with Dementia, (6) Assessment of Cognitive and Decision-Making Abilities and Functional Status, (7) Medical Care Management and Advocacy, (8) Pain Management and End-of-Life-Care, (9) Consultation with Elder Law Attorney's, and (10) Consultation and Staff Development to Organizations serving seniors. The care philosoophy is that "less is more", and that age alone should never be a barrier to comprehensive, competent and compassionate medical care services. Medicare and other medical insurances are not accepted but special arrangements and adjustments are possible when indicated.
