Mammography
Faith Regional uses Selenia™ digital mammography from Hologic® as part of their comprehensive diagnostic services. Selenia incorporates revolutionary imaging technology that provides incredibly sharp images.
Faith Regional is committed to making your mammogram warmer & more comfortable. We offer the Softer MammoPad® , a soft, foam cushion that’s placed between you & the mammography machine.

Faith Regional’s technologists are Board Certified in mammography.

Each mammogram is double-read by 2 board certified radiologists.

Faith Regional participates in the Every Woman Matters program, which provides free & reduced-cost mammograms for qualified women.

Obstetrics
The OB department provides labor & delivery services, C-sections, a regular & Special Care nursery, Parents Plus program, & postpartum care for families in a 70-80 mile radius of Norfolk.

Women & Heart Disease
Faith Regional CardioVascular Institute is part of a growing number of health care organizations focusing on women’s # 1 health problem: cardiovascular disease.
Through the Women & Heart Disease program, CVI can:
• Education about early warning signs & treatment
• Heart-health screenings

While symptoms of heart disease are similar for men & women, there are important differences. Heart disease is often thought of as a man’s disease, & focus is given to those classic male symptoms. Women can have other symptoms as well, & it is important to pay more attention to those.
Watch for these classic symptoms compiled by the American Heart Association:
• Squeezing chest pain/pressure/tightness, recurring chest discomfort
• Shortness of breath
• Sweating
• Pain spreading to shoulders, neck or arms
• Indigestion/gas-like pain
• Dizziness/nausea/vomiting
• Unexplained weakness/fatigue
• Discomfort/pain between shoulder blades
• Sense of impending doom
