Network Hearing

Every idea starts with a problem, ours was simple.

We were working in the hearing industry as hearing healthcare providers trying to help our patients hear better but finding it increasingly difficult to deal with another issue, the cost. Too often we found that patients wanted the help but could not afford hearing aids due to the average price ranging from $4000 to $7500 per set, not including the wireless accessories and batteries.

We found ourselves dealing with the corporate heads of private Audiology Groups, Retail Franchises and the Manufacturers who never asked how many people did you help this month, but instead asked how many units did you sell this month? Too often finding ourselves being reprimanded if we were honest with our patients with simple facts like:

Most Hearing Aid manufacturers get all of their semi-conductors (circuits) from the same circuit manufacturer.

Hearing aids typically have the same circuits powering them from the standard to premium levels, manufacturer software controls which features are available at each individual level.

After 8 channels hearing aids provide no additional benefit to speech understanding.

Finding ourselves at a cross roads the only solution was clear, we needed to start our own company that was dedicated to the patient care while remaining affordable.

So we started Network Hearing to create an alternative.

By circumventing traditional channels, programming the hearing aids in-house, and engaging with customers directly, we’re able to provide the same technology sold in Retail Stores and private Audiology Groups at a fraction of the price.

At Network Hearing we believe that buying hearing aids should be easy and fun. It should leave you happy and looking forward to improving your hearing, with money in your pocket.
