Dr. Suleyki Medina, M.D.

Suleyki Medina, M.D., is a palliative medicine specialist who serves as an attending physician on the Symptom Management and Palliative Medicine Service at Miami Cancer Institute, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. She received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she was honored with the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Award for Excellence. She also completed two fellowships — in Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine — at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where she was honored with the Fellow of the Year award in the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, Dr. Medina has published on Geriatric and Palliative Medicine topics. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Geriatrics Society and American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

She is fluent in English and Spanish.
