Champion Hearts is a local company that provides health and wellness ultrasound screenings for high schools, physicians’ offices, corporate wellness programs, and alternative health care facilities across Wisconsin.We screen for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), which is a leading cause of sudden cardiac death among athletes. We have made it our mission to ensure that no family suffers the devastating loss of a young adult, especially when HCM can be detected in a simple ten-minute screening.We also provide ultrasound echocardiogram screenings for adults to evaluate their heart valves and resting heart muscle function. Carotid artery disease is the narrowing of the carotid arteries (the two main blood vessels in the neck, which supply blood to the brain) that can lead to a stroke, the third-leading cause of death in the United States. We can evaluate the blood flow through the carotid arteries with a simple, non-invasive carotid ultrasound screening.
