Terry Brown, LMFT

Terry Brown, LMFT of Beaumont, TX is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 45 years of experience in counseling. He is a graduate of Wharton College (AA Degree in Social Services), the University of Houston (BA Degree in Sociology), Perkins School of Theology at SMU (Master of Theology with concentration on Pastoral Care), and University of Houston at Clear Lake (Master of Arts in Behavioral Science concentration in Family Systems).
Terry has been a chaplain in the Kairos Prison Ministry, Parkland Hospital in Dallas, and Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston. He has facilitated support groups for family members of Alzheimer’s patients and been an instructor at Tyler Jr. College to prepare people to become Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors (LCDC).
A member of the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and a Member of the Texas Council on Family Violence, Terry also enjoys organic gardening and woodworking.
