Equine New Life Rehab Everybody dreams of having that idea that changes the world. At ENLR, we would be content with changing some lives both human and horse. One at a time, we want to find those unique horses and with patience, love, and training develop their full personality and potential. There are a lot of Rescues out there and they do great work. We don't want to compete with them. Our goal is not to rescue as many as we can but to create a whole New Life for our precious found treasures. Redeem. Rehab. Rehome. It's a simple motto with a lot of meaning. Every day horses are sent first to auction and then to slaughter. This is not the place to debate that issue, but to save the few that we can. The first step is to pay the bail to Redeem the prospect from the kill pen.The next step is to Rehab the prospect. These horses are often mentally and emotionally traumatized as well as under weight and out of shape. The final step is to Rehome each prospect to their forever home specific to their unique personality and talents. Preferably with veterans who need them.
