genomicsEstablished in 1997, we provide a broad range of laboratory and ultrasound services in the rapidly growing field of genetics. These laboratory services include cytogenetics, molecular genetics, biochemical genetics, health and wellness, pharmacogenetics, as well as genetic counseling services.

Our expert staff of professionals include our President and Medical Director, Katherine Thompson, MD, FACMG. The cytogenetics and molecular genetics laboratories are headed by Ph.D’s that hold certification by the American Board of Medical Genetics in their specialty. We are also staffed with master’s level, board-certified and licensed physician assistants.

The Center for Medical Genetics has genetic counselors on staff to service the needs of our patients and referring physicians. All certified genetic counselors have completed a master’s level program in genetic counseling and are board-certified through the American Board of Genetic Counseling. We are also staffed with highly skilled sonographers that have multiple certifications from the Fetal Medicine Foundation.
