Lawrence Kurzweil, DDS

Dr. Lawrence A. Kurzweil has an unmatched background in serving Bellerose, Bayside, Floral Park, Glen Oaks, and many other surrounding communities in New York. He’s been providing superior dentistry services to the local community for more than 30 years. Over the years, Dr. Kurzweil has touched thousands of individuals and families who are committed to maintaining a bright, beautiful, healthy smile.
Dr. Kurzweil’s educational background and training is quite varied across healthcare disciplines. He received his Associate Degree in Science from Nassau Community College in 1979. After that, he enrolled at St. John’s University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy in 1982. After completing his degree, he worked at Cross Road Drugs in Kew Gardens, Queens, NY as a pharmacist for 5 years. Developing a passion for dentistry, Dr. Kurzweil attended New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1989 and was a member of the NYU College of Dentistry Prosthetic Honors Program. Before beginning his dentistry practice, he completed his General Practice Residency at Jamaica Hospital.
Dr. Kurzweil has made a serious commitment to continuing his education and advancing his knowledge in all relevant areas of dentistry. He regularly attends dental seminars, conventions, and courses, keeping him abreast of leading technologies and techniques that are relevant to his Bellerose, NY patients.
Dr. Kurzweil is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the CEREC Academy. He has also participated in the core vent system of Osseointegrated Implants surgical and Prosthetic training program. For his outstanding dedication and service in the field of dentistry, Dr. Kurzweil has been awarded many honors, including the Applied Practice Administration Award and the Robert J. Ditolla Memorial Award.
Dr. Kurzweil maintains his status as a registered pharmacist. He has extensive knowledge about most pharmaceuticals and can address any patients who require immediate medical attention. He is also certified in AED, CPR, and First Aid to deliver quality and well-rounded care to his patients in compromising situations.
