Chris Hadsall Candidate for Colorado House District 23

Who is Chris Hadsall?

Chris Hadsall is a husband, father, and veteran running for State House District 23. Chris, his wife, Tracy Hadsall, and their four children, Cole, Molly, Claire and Kiley, love to spend family time together in the mountains and open spaces of Colorado. Education is an important priority in Chris’ and his family’s lives. Along with his bachelor’s degree in liberal studies with an emphasis in political science and a masters degree in business administration, Chris is currently working on his masters of science in marketing from University of Colorado-Denver. Chris Hadsall is also a Veteran, medically retired in 2007 after being injured by a suicide bomber in Iraq. Chris has since helped create a nonprofit organization focusing on assisting disabled veterans with their transitions out of the military.


Why is Chris Hadsall running?

As Chris Hadsall says, his candidacy for State House District 23 “is motivated by my belief in service to community”. Chris was a Marine for ten years, but still feels compelled to do more to serve our country. Chris Hadsall believes it is “time to stop just consuming our civil liberties and freedoms and start protecting them again”. Chris’s goal when running for candidacy is to represent the interests of the people of Colorado, and not to fulfill personal interests.


What’s his platform?

Chris Hadsall’s platform focuses on the economy, healthcare, education, environment/energy resources, as well as the military and its veterans.

Economy: Chris will support laws and regulations that make it easier for entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses, as he believes it is small businesses that drive our country’s economy.

Healthcare: As a healthcare industry employee, Chris has been exposed to many issues and problems regarding efficiency within our healthcare system. Chris believes Colorado needs market driven solutions, not higher taxes or government bureaucrats, to ensure the best quality healthcare for the citizens of Colorado.

Education: As a father of four school-aged kids, Chris supports charter schools, rigorous standards, data driven creative solutions and effective spending on teaching tools in order to ensure children are receiving the best education possible.

Veterans and Military Support: Chris wants to help make Colorado a place where veterans want to live and active duty military members want to stay after their tours are completed. As an injured combat Veteran, Chris knows first hand the problems veterans face within the VA system.

Protecting Open Space: Chris and his family love the outdoors and want to ensure open space is protected.

Energy Resources: Chris believes our country should become independent from foreign energy resources. Since Colorado is an epicenter for energy, Chris believes we should leverage our resources and lead the rest of the nation in responsible energy development.
