After researching other companies like Lexington, Sky Blue, etc. and seeing so many mixed reviews, I decided to call Credit Repair based on the Yelp review. Ali did not disappoint. He promptly reviewed my credit report and explained that a bulk of my credit issues were due to defaulted student loans. Anyone that has student loans from more than one institution knows how confusing this process can be, and Ali provided helpful information the same day that allowed me to retrieve all of my loan information since 2002. This info alone saved me a good hour or two of phone calls and digging through old bills. Ali was forthright, and explained that I should get my loans out of default first and then reach out to him to work on my remaining credit issues. I appreciated his honesty and guidance and even offered to compensate him, but he said the consultation was free and we'll worry and payment once we start working to get things off my report down the line. In sum, I was impressed by Ali's knowledge, responsiveness, and honesty. As a believer in "working from big to small," it was refreshing to deal with someone who was not going to BS me and take my money with minimal results as long as I had the student loan cloud hanging over me. I highly suggest giving him a call if you have credit issues, and will be referring him to friends and family.
