Since becoming a therapist in 1990 I have continued to study numerous systems of psycho/spiritual practice, always learning new methods to add to the toolbox. Over time and usage, I have synthesized all these wonderful ideas, filtered them through my 26 years of experiences working with clients, and created something I believe is unique and genuinely effective. I watch my client's take ownership and create joy in their lives, discover their true gifts and claim what gives their lives meaning and passion. I watch couples learn to communicate in whole new ways, creating intimate heartfelt relationships, and so much more. I see parents go from being afraid for or even of their children to enjoying their children and growing with them in beautiful ways.

I regard my ability to participate in all these processes with clients as such privilege and an honor; I truly have the most wonderful fulfilling job I could ever want. For me.

I think my biggest strengths as a therapist begin with my ability to actually see the wholeness, the best in each person, becoming a kind of mirror reflecting that beauty back to them so they eventually feel it, see it, and start living from that place themselves. Debunking tired, old self limiting myths about self and life and the world is a natural product of working with me.

I'm also big on finding the humor in life, no matter how hard it can sometimes be, the ability to not take ourselves so seriously is a gift.
I have such faith that barring true mental illness (which I do not treat) we all have the resources within us to turn the pain of life into something useful and often even beautiful. I see life as art and pain as one, but only one, of the many necessary colors, comprising the whole rich masterpiece that becomes our life.
