Giovanna Dukcevich, DMD

Dr. Giovanna Dukcevich is a talented dentist who serves the residents of Midtown West and nearby neighborhoods in New York City, New York. Midtown Manhattan, Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Central Park South and Columbus Circle are just a few of the neighborhoods within that area. She specializes in many different facets of general and cosmetic dentistry. Along with adults, she works extensively with the children who come to her office because she understands the importance of teaching them how to properly care for their teeth. She encourages parents to bring their children to the dentist as soon as their first tooth erupts. This helps to familiarize the child with the dentist and builds a positive relationship that is built on trust, not fear.
Dr. Dukcevich received her dentistry doctorate from Tufts Dental University. She also attended Boston University and received a bachelor’s degree in science and psychology. She has received continuing education, post dental credit for cosmetic dentistry and endodontics, as well as fixed and removable prosthodontics. She was formerly a faculty member of Tufts Dental School and is currently a faculty member of the New York University of Dentistry. She has worked in New York City, New York; Cambridge, Massachusetts; Boston, Massachusetts; Milano, Italy; and Cortina, Italy.
Dr. Dukcevich is a member of many dental societies, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Cosmetic Dental Association (ACDA), the New York County Dental Society and the New York State Dental Association. As a member of these dental societies, she works diligently to maintain the standards and level of professionalism that the organizations embody. She continually works to learn as much as she can about new dental techniques and procedures that may benefit her patients.
The doctor is well known for her work in the New York City area and spends as much time as possible with each patient she sees. She creates effective treatment plans for each patient that address any problems he may have. She works diligently to educate both children and adults on proper dental care and how to keep their smile healthy and bright.
