I am a clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience helping many people overcome the effects of trauma, PTSD, OCD, panic attacks, stress and depression. I work with seniors, adults, adolescents. Sometimes, my patients have been in therapy before, or have gone to health care providers seeking answers. The pain is real, but the providers are unable to provide adequate relief. Interestingly, in my practice and according to current research, I have found that many times, unresolved (often unconscious) memories of trauma, neglect, emotional and/or physical abuse, are the underlying causes for chronic pain or depression.

Treatment specialties includes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). This approach "jump starts" the natural healing process which has become "stuck", maintaining the chronic pain, depression, or anxiety. I also provide CBT, ERP, and stress management techniques which help to eliminate or decrease the OCD, anxiety, and depression.
