Board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Nitkin has extensive experience treating a wide array of obstetric and gynecological issues, including uterine fibroids, heavy menstrual bleeding, sexually-transmitted diseases and unplanned pregnancies, offering safe, confidential pregnancy termination options including both surgical options and the RU486 “abortion pill.” In addition, he provides gynecological care for adolescents as well as minimally-invasive in-office diagnostic evaluations and second opinion consultations to help women make the most informed decisions possible about their care.

Dr. Nitkin is committed to providing each patient with the broadest array of care options so every patient can feel confident in her care and her health. The practice's Safe Option program was created to enable women to take the steps they need to terminate unplanned pregnancies without worrying about judgment or recriminations. Dr. Nitkin completed his medical degree at Perm State Medical Academy, followed by two residencies in obstetrics and gynecology, including one at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and a second at the State University of New York (SUNY), Downstate Medical Center.

Dr. Nitkin welcomes new patients as well as walk-in patients. He speaks English, Russian and Polish, and the practice accepts most major types of insurance plans.
