Dr. Jon D Leleux, MD

A native of Loreauville, LA, Jon Leleux completed both his undergraduate (’85-‘89) and medical school (’86-’91) studies at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, LA, where he was a member of the Dean's List 1988-91. He was also a recipient of the John C McDonald Surgical Excellence Award in 1990.
He completed his Internship & Residency (’91-’94) at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL, before transferring to the University of Texas in San Antonio, TX, for a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease (’97). Dr Leleux became Board Certified in Internal Medicine (’94-’04), Cardiovascular Disease (’98-present) & Interventional Cardiology (2000-present) by the American Board of Internal Medicine. After working as a staff cardiologist in Texas, Dr. Leleux relocated back to his home state of Louisiana and has been practicing in Lafayette since 1999. He is a member of the Louisiana State and Lafayette Parish Medical Societies and is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
