At Jenny K and Well Grounded Tea & Coffee Bar, it’s all about giving back to the community. The gift shop and cafe were opened in 2005 on El Cerrito, California’s Stockton Avenue. Operated by husband-and-wife pair Jen Komaromi and Kevin O'Neal, the shops have become a neighborhood favorite, providing a wide variety of organic, fair-trade, handmade, and local products.

In 2012, the couple was able to expand Jenny K and offer even more gifts, accessories and kitchen goods. Customers are welcome to browse the cozy atmosphere, filled with such brands as Baggallini, Holly Yashi, Marjorie Baer, TY, Snap Circuits, El Cerrito T-Shirts, Charles Viancin, Rock Wall Wine, Root Candles, Fire & Light Glass, and Lepi de Provence.

Then, they can head next-door to Well Grounded Tea & Coffee Bar for a latte or a bagel sandwich. The cafe offers customers bistro-style outdoor seating and the chance to enjoy dining alfresco with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Jenny K and Well Grounded frequently participate in community events, donating to local schools and the arts and hosting special events featuring the work of local artists and craftspeople whenever possible. They are committed to green business principles and are a Certified Bay Area Green Business.
