The Velveteen Habit Farmhouse Restaurant in Ogunquit is tucked into a small clearing just two miles from the quaint village of downtown Ogunquit, ME. Staying true to the traditions of our old New England farmhouse, our dinner menu focuses around the daily harvest from our Kitchen Garden in the back yard with the remainder of our ingredients being selected from trusted partner purveyors. We have a strong commitment to preservation techniques, whole animal butchery, curing, pickling and smoking these traditional methods of preparation help to ensure responsible and optimal use of all of our products. Our Micro Farm is focused on bio-intensive growing techniques and also includes honeybee hives, small livestock, edible flowers and a full production greenhouse. With a focus around wine, seasonal cocktails and a love for hospitality, TVH is both timeless and elegant in method and theory.
