I-80 Lakeside Campground

I-80 Lakeside Campground, formerly known as Lakeside Camping, has reopened under new owners. Seated on a clean private lake, our campground features 64 sites, many with full water, sewer, and electric (30 or 50 amp), as well as a community shower house, laundry facilities, and dump station. Several sites are pull-through and can accommodate any size RV. We also have areas set aside for primitive and tent camping. A full convenience store is located on-site, and includes items such as snacks, food, drinks, fishing supplies, camping necessities, ice, and grocery items. We hope to receive our liquor license in July and will then have alcohol available as well. Wifi is available in the store.

In addition to being an overnight campground, I-80 Lakeside is also available for day use. A Day Use Pass allows access to the south and east beaches of the property between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Activities available with a Day Use Pass include fishing (catch and release only), swimming, horseshoes, sand volleyball, a walking trail, picnic areas, and use of campfire pits. We also have non-motorized watercraft for rent from our store, including kayaks, paddle boats, and rowboats. These can be rented by the 1/2 hour, hourly, or daily.

The well-stocked lake houses a multitude of fish. Species include Crappie, Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch, Catfish, and others. A multitude of fish are tagged in the lake, and if a guest catches a tagged fish, they win a prize (limit one per day). Prizes range from pop and candy, all the way to a year-long family day pass.
