Dr. Carline Louis-Jacques has been providing skilled medical care and lifestyle and nutritional guidance to her patients for more than two decades, helping women understand their bodies and their health risks and needs so they can enjoy life at every stage. At her private practice in Torrance, CA, Dr. Louis-Jacques offers women a comprehensive array of medical services, including birth control and family planning services, gynecological care, obstetrical care, treatments for hormonal imbalances, nutritional evaluations and counseling, and medical weight loss that's optimized for each patient's unique needs.
Board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Louis-Jacques is dedicated to the patients she serves, promoting self-empowerment and self-awareness in each patient by listening to their health concerns and providing them with the most appropriate testing and treatment for optimum health and wellness. She believes strongly in educating her patients so they can take control of their health and their lives through both traditional medicine and holistic approaches including lifestyle and nutritional changes.
Dr. Louis-Jacques believes in establishing strong relationships with her patients so she can provide customized care that's individualized for every patient's needs and preferences. She understands the trust and cares her patients place in her, and she has a deep respect for her patients and the concerns and issues they face.
After completing her undergraduate degree at Holy Cross College in Massachusetts, Dr. Louis-Jacques earned her M.D. At Albert Einstein College of Medicine and her M.P.H. from Columbia University, as well as an internship and residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City.
When not at work, Dr. Louis-Jacques enjoys spending time with her three sons, exploring the outdoors, yoga, reading, music, scrapbooking and power walking. She speaks English, French, and Spanish, and her office works with all major insurance companies.
