Welcome to the offices of Carrie Nelson, DPM, and the site of Foot Care Consultants, Inc. Dr. Nelson is a board certified podiatric physician, dedicated to the foot care needs of your entire family. Both offices have ample free parking.

A podiatrist is a specialist who provides medical diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, such as ingrown toenails, plantar warts, neuromas, heel pain, sprains and fractures, fungal toenails, corns and calluses, skin ailments and diabetic foot care. Four years of undergraduate education and four years of podiatric medical education are required to obtain a doctorate in podiatric medicine. All podiatrists must take and pass state and national exams and be licensed in the state in which they practice. Dr. Nelson completed a 2 year surgical residency but no longer does bone procedures, bunion corrections, for example. Minor surgeries such as ingrown nails and removal of skin lesions can be done in the office
