Good Medicine Lodge is a Bed and Breakfast located in Whitefish, Montana. Our location provides seamless access to all activities during any season. We are located right next door to Bonsai Brewery, a few doors down from Stumptown Ice Den, a fifteen-minute walk to Whitefish Lake City Beach and minutes away from downtown Whitefish. Glacier National Park’s west entrance is a quick 24-minute drive. Guests love that they can take the free S.N.O.W. bus shuttle to and from our front door up to Whitefish Mountain Resort. Travel worry free up the stunning mountain to enjoy some of the best ski and bike terrain in the nation. If you are not skier or biker, Whitefish Mountain Resort offers several other activities for travelers to enjoy. Or you can sit back at the lodge and sip on a gooey hot chocolate with a book in hand next to one of our five fireplaces or hang out next door at Bonsai enjoying one of several hand-crafted brews.
Rustic and cozy, our modern lodge was designed with luxurious mountain living in mind. Built in the 1970’s, the original cabin was constructed with square cedar logs. Over the years, previous owners added rooms on to the cabin making it into the large nine room Bed and Breakfast it is today. Our guest rooms range in size from a large two bedroom suite to a queen bed room. Most rooms have private balconies. All are appointed with organic sheets, luxurious down comforters and comfortable beds with a Native American and Western Montana theme. Each guest room has its own private bath with local organic toiletries provided. We have a large great room with large picture windows and high beam ceilings, a large dining area and a cozy TV room. The Whitefish Mountain offers a stunning backdrop while enjoying a dip in our outdoor hot tub or a stroll through our edible garden in the summer months.
Breakfast is prepared fresh daily with local and organic ingredients (when possible) and is served with a great cup of coffee and fresh baked pastry. All our guests enjoy a daily complimentary beverage and snacks upon arrival. We also have coffee, espresso, tea and freshly baked cookies available at any time. We offer free WIFI and the use of our guest computer and printer anytime.
