Welcome to Just Like My Own Pet Care. I am Beth Palmer, a professional pet sitter in Lacey, Washington.

I love meeting and taking care of cats and dogs. I enjoy learning about their personalities, their preferences and interests. My goal is to not only keep your pets safe, but also to keep them happy and entertained. I want them to look forward to my visits and ready to have some fun.

Getting to Know Me

I spent many years in the software business. But my true passion has always been animals. I am taking this opportunity to live my dream by spending my time with animals and the people who love them. I am new to the Oly-land but I feel at home here already.

I am experienced with caring for pets. My personal animal family has included dozens of cats, dogs, fish and goats. I have loved them all, with their individual personalities and quirks. I have cared for lots of animals including cats, dogs, horses, goats, guinea pigs, rats and fish.

I am a good match for families that adore and indulge their animal friends. I pay close attention to anything that might indicate a medical or emotional issue. My special passion is animals who are shy or nervous. Pets who have experienced emotional or physical traumas often need a lot of time and patience to allow themselves to trust a human. I know of no higher compliment than gaining the trust of a shy pet.

I am a very careful, responsible person who worries about any thing that can go wrong. As a result, I take steps to make sure your animals are my top priority. Feel free to ask any questions. I’m happy to address any concerns you have.
