2 Step Divorces

2 Step Divorce provides divorce seminars (and free videos), divorce preparation services, and divorce mediation services to individuals and families in the transitions of separation, divorce, and post-divorce co-parenting modifications. The 2 Steps of divorces here are to reach agreements that can then be filed with the relevant court. The hard part is achieving agreements and is our mediation firm's focus. One path we offer families through the transition of divorce is taking "Crash Course Divorce," then getting financial information organized, and then, if both spouses agree, scheduling a mediation appointment for settlement negotiations. Our divorce mediators help parting partners focus on what the courts expect to receive and also, if possible, the "non-legal" issues that are foreseeable but can be avoided. When a complete agreement can be made, that agreement is drafted for the parties' review, comment, and editing. This allows individuals who may not have had legal counsel at mediation to have the opportunity to have an attorney review and advise them. This pacing allows people to make informed decisions with more confidence. We are growing. In 2016, our office locations included Atlanta, Peachtree City and McDonough, Georgia and plans for six more locations to be added.
