Shanti Yoga & Counseling opened doors in Gulfport, MS in August 2010 in response to the increased need for integrative mental health as well as preventative and therapeutic modalities on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. Since then, Tania Shanti Bayne has worked with and helped hundreads of residents in Mississippi to rebuild their life and emotional well-being since Hurricane Katrina in 2005 by bringing a holistic approach tailored to the uniqiue needs of each individual. The founder of Shanti Yoga & Counseling has received several awards and honors, such as the Woman of Achievement for 2012, The Champion of The Women in Business in Mississippi by the Small Business Association as the State winner and will be honored by the Mississippi Small Business Association in July, 2014.
