Health Management Center began in 1989 as a traditional HMR® Clinic. We are now the only HMR program to focus exclusively on HMR Classes by Phone and the HMR at Home® Program. Our center is located in Tappahannock, Virginia, but we offer all of our services as well as HMR Weight Loss Foods to our clients by phone and via the internet throughout the entire United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands.

We are not your typical weight loss program. We are a group of health professionals, headed by Peggy Pursley, RD, a Registered Dietitian, who has over 21 years of experience as an HMR Health Educator. Whether you choose to attend one of our HMR Classes by Phone, do HMR at Home or purchase HMR diet foods a la carte, we are here for you. Your good health and weight management are the whole reason for our existence!

You can choose to lose weight using the HMR Healthy Solutions Diet either with the full support of an HMR Health Educator in our convenient and highly successful HMR Classes by Phone or in HMR at Home, which is a Self-Managed format. In either case, you’ll have everything you need to achieve your weight loss goals and to manage your new, lower weight.

The beauty of both HMR Classes by Phone and the HMR at Home Programs is that they come to you in the convenience and privacy of your home. Your HMR Weight Loss Foods and easy-to-use Educational Materials are delivered right to your door.

When you choose HMR Classes by Phone, you’ll attend weekly, fast-paced, informative weight loss classes with other serious dieters in a fully interactive conference call format. We offer both Phase 1 and Phase 2 (Weight Loss and Management) Classes by Phone. Now attendance couldn’t be easier, because you can call in to your HMR Class from wherever you have a phone!
