Dr. Gaby Doumit M.D. Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon

"Dr. Doumit is an assistant professor of surgery at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation and University of Montreal.

Dr. Doumit grew up in Ottawa, Ontario and Gatineau, Quebec. After graduating cum laude from Ecole Secondaire De La Salle, he received his bachelor and medical degrees from the University of Ottawa. Dr Doumit then completed full general surgery training at the University of Ottawa (Ottawa, Canada), full plastic surgery training at Temple University Hospital (Philadelphia, United States), and craniofacial/aesthetic surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School (Boston, United States). Dr. Doumit received special training for surgery of the face and body to treat cosmetic concern.

Dr. Doumit was invited to join in 2010 the world famous Cleveland Clinic hospital department of plastic surgery as director of craniofacial surgery. While there, Dr. Doumit had the privilege to successfully treat many complex cases that failed treatments at other major university hospitals in the United States and the world. Despite moving to Montreal, Dr. Doumit remains on staff at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Doumit is consistently in demand as a guest lecturer at plastic and reconstructive surgery meetings in the United States and abroad. He writes about plastic surgery topics, including facelifts, facial implants, rhinoplasty and body contouring. He has authored 5 book chapters and over 30 scientific articles relating to plastic surgery. He is also a member of the editorial board of the journal of craniofacial surgery.

Dr. Doumit is currently the chair of the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery Courses. He is also on the executive board of the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery."
