Michael's Bromeliads started over 30 years ago as my husband Michael's hobby of collecting Bromeliads. We started a small mail order business in our back yard in St.Petersburg, FL. We always wanted to open a nursery business of our own. The opportunity came when a fellow Bromeliad enthusiast decided to retire and travel. He offered us his collection so as we made a trip down to Venice, FL we noticed his property was also for sale. We jumped on the opportunity and it became Michael's Bromeliads. We have been in Venice, FL now for 13 years with 14 green houses and our new retail store Donna's Secret Garden. Some of our plants and services include bromeliads, Orchids, succulent, cactus, landscape, house plants, garden, neoregelia, aechmea, dyckia, ferns, billbergia, tillandsia, tropical plants, tropical nursery and tropical gardening.
