Dr. Jade Zapata, MD

Dr. Zapata is a board certified adult psychiatrist who loves being able to improve her patients’ lives. She utilizes both psychological and neurobiological perspectives to address a variety of emotional and mental health issues in a thoughtful, caring and comprehensive manner. She is deeply committed to the care of her patients and embraces a collaborative style that can include working closely with our entire team of psychologists. Dr. Zapata’s approach is influenced by her knowledge of psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She has worked extensively with patients struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Dr. Zapata obtained her medical degree from the University of Arizona and completed her psychiatry residency at the renowned California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.
