Welcome to El Corazon des Tejas where Dallas Tex-Mex was born! Noted as the "Real Deal" by D Magazine and nominated for Best Tex-Mex by the Dallas Observer, we've been serving up fresh Texas-accented Mexican dishes since 1955. Being family-owned and operated over the course of three-generations, our cozy restaurant has been in the same building, adorned with the same artwork since we opened many years ago.

Don't forget to come by for our Tuesday-Friday happy hour and all day Saturday as everybody knows that the Heart of Texas is on fire! Offering a variety of beverages that sooth the soul, you'll find nothing but 100% agave tequila in our margaritas!
