Mazhar Lakho, MD

Mazhar Lakho MD is a compassionate and dedicated internist and primary care doctor serving his patients in Belleville, IL. Dr. Lakho is multilingual, communicating fluently with his patients in English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, and Sindhi. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and he is currently a member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Lakho believes in quality over quantity and in the education of patients. He is currently practicing at his own internal medicine practice. Dr. Lakho performs annual physicals, allergy consultations, colon cancer screenings, dermatology consultations, and disability evaluations. He welcomes patients to his practice who are experiencing asthma, arthritis, diabetes, eczema, and the flu, among others.

Dr. Lakho earned his medical degree from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro. He then completed his residency at Texas Tech University and his fellowship at Wadley Institutes of Molecular Medicine.

Dr. Lakho has participated in research for early rehabilitation of AMI patients, cholesterol level estimation after AML, and clinical correlation of quantitative blood cultures in patients with persistent septicemia, among others.
