After a comprehensive evaluation, patients will receive a treatment plan consisting of activity modification, therapeutic exercise, dietary changes, herbal supplements vs. medications and/or injection procedures. Dr. Carter strongly believes that prevention is the best treatment and therefore, a significant part of the treatment plan will also focus on injury prevention.

The office visit experience is unique in offering personalized concierge services. Wait time for consultations and procedures is minimal and can often be performed on the same or next day. Appointments are scheduled to allow Dr. Carter ample time to fully understand the symptoms her patients are experiencing. The New York office is equipped with diagnostic ultrasound, fluoroscopy (video x-ray) and electrodiagnostic equipment for same-day diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Carter is always available for her patients via phone, email and pager.
