A true mom and pop take out restaurant of traditional Colorado home-style cooking. Featuring authentic Mexican flavors and Cajun dishes you cannot find anywhere else in Denver. Chickee's is nestled in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver near the intersection of 44th and Zuni. The Sanchez family has built this award winning menu off of old family recipes and all dishes are made from scratch daily. Items that are featured on a daily basis will include our award winning smothered breakfast burrito, which are made fresh to order; Cajun chicken gumbo, red beans and rice, both of which can be made with andouille sausage, and a Colorado staple, pork green chile, On the weekends we make and serve Boudin balls from scratch as an added treat. Harriet and Bob have poured their heart in soul into all of the dishes and once you get your first taste you will understand why.
